2022 NEWS FROM THE COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE

Greetings fellow Survivors and Adoptees, and extended community members,

Winter message from the board The Sixties Scoop Healing Foundation’s volunteer Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of new Director of Communications, Andréa Ledding.

She is a longtime communications specialist, photojournalist, editor, poet, playwright, and musician, among other endeavours. Based in Saskatoon, she is the inaugural Director of Communications for the 60’s Scoop Healing Foundation, a national organization dedicated to supporting 60’s Scoop survivors, alongside other roles and responsibilities in her free time. She has previously worked for many organizations in various capacities. She graduated from the inaugural cohort of the MFA in Writing program, and went on to earn an MA in English with an emphasis on Indigenous Literature and Studies; throughout her writing career she has been nominated for, and won, numerous awards in varied genres.
